“What’s Going On”
How Is Your Revolution Going?
What ‘s Going On?!
A lot more than meets the eye at first glance.
In this episode of Live Sense8, Zac and Sheila dive deep into What’s Going On Season 1 Episode 4 of the Netflix Original Series Sense8.
The title of this episode, What’s Going On, lends tribute to the episode’s iconic scene set to the soundtrack of 4 Non Blondes song by the same name.
As Amanita says, What’s Going On by 4 Non Blonds is the perfect song for a Lobotomy.
This music video like scene has become an iconic reflection of the interconnectedness in this series as it weaves together the 8 Sensates.
This has even seeped off the screen into real life as Sense8 fans from around the world joined together in the tribute video.
But that is not all that is going on in this Episode.
There is so much more going on here.
Sheila and Zac dissect the message within the setting of the opening scene, as Felix shares his philosophical side in the Garden of Exile.
Have a listen to The Garden of Exile by Toby Martin to feel the Limbic Resonance of this space.
Sheila’s frustration with Sun’s family only amplifies in this episode as Sun’s father and brother use her mother’s memory to manipulate her into taking the fall for their extortion charges.
Kala’s visit to the Temple where she learns about her fiancé and future father-in-law’s reputation for corruption in both politics and pharmaceuticals, leads this dynamic duo (that’s Sheila & Zac) to a heated discussion about religion, politics and the layers of humanity consciousness.
And this is just some of what Sheila and Zac dive into during this episode.
